I’m 18 now, well how about that. It doesn’t feel any different really, I just keep being told I’m an adult now. Bugger.

I didn’t come here to rant about how boring being 18 is, oh no, I came to give you a gift. This gift is the gift of beautiful music dear amigos.

This man is the future. Seriously. Craig Bevan is not only the next big thing in the UK, he is also a nice guy, podcaster and legend.

I first heard about Craig through podcasting, I got my first iPod (a purple 4th gen nano for those who care) and then spent about £50 on iTunes getting music, after realising that I’d soon be broke if I kept doing this I began looking through the iTunes store for stuff I wouldn’t have to pay for which is how I stumbled on podcasts. I was amazed when I first saw them, they were free and they were entertaining, what more could a broke teenager want? So I started looking for Star Trek podcasts and found the brilliant Make It So and after a few listens of that I began downloading some episodes of all the Simply Syndicated shows. I became addicted, listening to everything I could that was produced by anyone remotely linked to SS and still do to this day which is how I found Craig’s music. He was different to most of the current musicians in the UK. He has a little something for everyone and that’s the mark of a great artist in my view. He has a fantastic voice, plays guitar, writes his own material, isn’t just your typical ditzy musician and is a really nice guy on top of it all.

Ok, if you haven’t yet checked out any of Craig’s music and are still reading my silly rambling I am shaking my head at you. Some people may be a bit reluctant to check him out still, I mean why should you? Because I told you to? Yes, you should, perhaps not for that reason but you should. I can promise you that Craig will be big, think Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson but British and able to pull of Miley Cyrus. If you don’t check out Craig now, you will regret it, because you will look like one of those lame bandwagon jumpers, so get your seat on the bandwagon now!
